Free Altium Schematic Symbols and PCB footprints? 

PCB Component Libraries is a community driven database of Altium, Schematic Symbols and PCB Footprints that are provided completely free of charge to download and use in your designs.

We created PCB Component Libraries using a simple idea to stop duplication of work. Right now there are library parts being created that have been made before and will be made again. We think that in these modern times this is an out-dated practice and that the process of component creation should be unified. We aim to do this by providing a location where component information is available to all of the electronics community completely free. 

How does it work?

Our PCB Layout Engineers will upload components into the database as quickly as they can make them. In addition to this we allow registered users of the site to use the upload facility share any library parts they have made. Once the information has been uploaded, it will be checked by one of our verifiers, who will thoroughly check all aspects of the component; the schematic symbol, the PCB footprint, and all of the attribute information. 

Once all the component information checks out it will then be added into our main database where it is searchable by anyone who uses the site, and will be downloadable by all registered users.  Once you have found the components you need for your design. You can download them right then and there or you can use our "save to cart option" so that you can continue your design and then come back later to download all of the components you need at a later date.
